Blackfish Video Project
For this project, my partner and I created a PSA about the documentary Blackfish, I was sick for almost all of this project, but I was able to edit it and get it finished on time. If I were to do this project over again, I would try not to get sick. :) I only had a little bit of time to finish, but I did the best that I could in the time that I had.
Tutorials
Teacher Creature
For this project, I turned Matt into a shark. I used the magic wand tool to
transfer the shark's skin onto Matt's face. I used the refine edge tool to
feather the edges so it wouldn't completely cover Matt's features.
The hardest part of this project was using photoshop. I had never used it
before, so I didn't know what I was doing. But once I started using photoshop
and asking for advice, it became a lot easier. I learned how to use several of
the tools, such as magic wand, refine edge, text warp, and lighting.
My favorite part of this project was making the background seem realistic.
Adding the fish and the reef was very fun. I had to adjust the lighting on
the reef to make it seem like it belonged in that environment. The fish were
fun to place around the reef. They had to seem as if they were swimming
around the coral.
